Outfitter Satellite's service was outstanding, especially customer service. During our learning phase for the system, Outfitter Satellite's technical service quickly solved our problems after only 1 call. We never had occasion to call them again as we never encountered a problem. As the chief operator for the system, I highly recommend anyone considering a satellite system to use the BGAN from Outfitter Satellite. Clipperton Atoll is a very hostile environment, with temperatures during the day reaching 110 degrees and rainstorms that dumped 3 inches of rain in 20 minutes. No problems EVER with the BGAN through it all.

The ThurayaIP Satellite modem is a small, lightweight terminal that provides up to 444 Kbps internet connections, as well as up to 384 Kbps streaming IP connections. It is ideal for applications such as corporate users needing to support a small remote team, government users, media, or anyone needing to setup video conferences, or send store and forward video, or live video.

A graphical user interface makes it easy to set up and use the terminal. There is no software required on your PC to configure the satellite modem, or to setup an internet connection.

The rugged design allows the unit to be used in rough environments of heat, cold, dust, wind, and rain.

An optional external antenna allows the user to be indoors while the antenna is outdoors up to 33 feet (10 m) away.
