ISATPHONE PRO SATELLITE PHONE
The IsatPhone PRO uses Inmarsat satellites to provide voice calling capability with near global coverage (see coverage map). It also offers SMS and email-to-text services. The IsatPhone PRO is suitable for AmosConnect email (optimized for satellite communications) but it is not recommended for web browsing. Our IsatPhone PRO Rental Kit includes an IsatPhone PRO, battery, AC wall charger, 4-piece US/Euro/UK/AU plug set, micro USB charging cable, belt holster, padded softcase with backpack strap, and quick help guide. Voicemail service is included.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: extra battery, fold-up solar panel with integrated battery pack, watertight Pelican case, and satellite-optimized AmosConnect email software (for Windows computers).

EXPLORER 100 CLASS III BGAN
This is the SMALLEST BGAN available and is only 2.2 lbs and roughly half the size of a typical notebook computer. The EXPLORER 100 was designed for individual users. It provides best effort standard IP internet access up to 384 kbps (download) or 240 kbps (upload). The EXPLORER 100 Rental Kit includes a small softcase with carry strap, a USB cable, AC wall charger with plug set, DC car charger, Windows and Mac and email software on a USB thumb drive, and a Quick Help Guide.

COMPATIBILITY: It is compatible with Mac Snow Leopard, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. Outfitter Satellite can support Windows 7 Pro users using Virtual PC (XP Mode) software (free download from Microsoft).

OPTIONAL POWER ACCESSORIES: The EXPLORER 100 internal battery will only offer 30-45 minutes of internet access (typically) without external power. If you do not have external power, we recommend renting our Sustain Battery which can support 2.5 to 3.5 hours of continuous internet access. The battery pack can recharge other small electronics equipped with 12 Volt DC chargers. It can even supply power while being charged from its AC wall charger (110-240 VAC50-60 Hz), DC car charger, or its optional fold-up ultralight Solar Panel charger.

OPTIONAL NETBOOK RENTAL -- ONLY $2/DAY Some customers don't want to risk taking their own computer to a remote off-road location. Our Rental NetBook (and its AC wall charger and DC car charger) fit right in the softcase with the EXPLORER 100. The NetBook is a small Acer Computer with Windows XP Home version preconfigured for the EXPLORER 100. Specs: 1.66 Ghz processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard disk, 802.11 b/g/n, 10.1" 1024x600 resolution screen, and a built-in camera. The NetBook has a high brightness screen to help you use it outside in the sun.

HNS-9201 CLASS I BGAN
For highest performance, we recommend the HNS-9201 by Hughes Network Systems. These American-made terminals can reach up to 492 kbps in Standard IP data mode. Ethernet RJ-45 and wireless 802.11 WLAN is supported for multiple users via a built-in router.

A Macintosh iBook and BGAN voice handset kit are shown for scale (not included). The HNS-9201 is the smallest and lightest Class I BGAN and is the best overall choice for multiple-user, video, and VPN applications. It is also suitable for all-weather year-round external mounting for permanent or semi-permanent fixed-site applications. A low-cost terminal adapter is available for users wanting to use conventional fax or phone equipment with the HNS-9201. LIMITATIONS: The HNS-9201 supports BGAN-X streaming IP and ISDN but special arrangements need to be made before the rental equipment ships.

Our HNS-9201 rental kit includes the terminal, watertight Pelican case, LAN cable, ISDN cable, battery, AC wall charger (110-240 VAC), int'l plug kit, DC car charger, LaunchPad and email software (on a USB thumb drive), and a User Guide. Options include fold-up solar panels, external 12 Volt DC battery packs, HNS terminal adapter with voice handset, and pre-configured NetBook computers. 

EXPLORER™ 727 BGAN
This vehicular BGAN system gives your land vehicle access to Inmarsat BGAN services while your vehicle is in motion. The low-profile desert tan antenna is designed to stand up to cold, hot, or wet environments. Some installation will be required. Call for more information.
