Several small portable handset models are available for Globalstar users, including the new GSP-1700 by Qualcomm weighing just over 7 oz. Globalstar satellite phones can be provided with Texas, Florida, and Alaska phone numbers. A variety of accessories are available including docking stations for your car or boat, with varying cable lengths to the external antenna. There are also several models for use in fixed-site and marine applications where the user wishes to connect the Globalstar phone to a traditional analog phone or PBX.
